    Tim Horton's Breakfast Sandwiches

This morning I had to get up earlier than normal (for a weekend) and get down to campus to work on some projects with classmates.  I figured I'd stop and grab some kind of egg/meat breakfast sandwich and some orange juice.

Burger King was closest - so I hit their website.  The only useful information I found was the phone number of the nearest restauraunt:

ME: "What time do you stop serving breakfast?"
    BK: "10:30a"

It was almost 11:00a at the time.

The wife said "Tim Hortons has breakfast sandwiches."

So I hit their site and found the info I wanted - the types of sandwiches they served and that they were available "Weekdays until 11am.  Weekends/Holidays until noon. *".  Their site had some layout issues in IE7 though.

I didn't see the footnote "Available until 11am in the US" until I posted this entry - I'm glad that the folks at my Tim Hortons were breaking the rules and making breakfast sandwiches until sane hours in the US where we sleep in on weekends and holidays (apparently Canadians do too).

At any rate, the sandwiches were a little pricey.  2 sausage/egg/cheese sandwiches ran me $4.58 and adding an orange juice brought the total to $5.68.

The sandwiches were ok.  The sandwiches were made with biscuits and had ample toppings.  One nice thing was that the sandwiches were wrapped in a sort of envelope so that stuff couldn't fall out of the wrapper while eating.  Simple and effective.

As long as they maintain their relatively late hours I'll be going back.
